Lead Teacher Dragonfly Room
I am a graduate of University of California at Santa Cruz with a degree in Cultural Anthropology. I grew up in Southern California, but really loved Northern California and stayed until moving to Portland with my husband, Todd, in 1998. When my daughter was 3-years-old, I took the training in Portland and received my AMI certificate at MNW in 2005. I joined the Camas Montessori Staff in 2013, bringing 7 years of Montessori Primary teaching experience to the Dragonfly Room. In addition to my work in the classroom, I enjoy gardening, yoga, soccer, reading, traveling and spending time with friends, family and our Australian Shepherd, Wynston. My daughter recently graduated from U of O with a degree in Urban Studies with a Minor in Sustainable Business.
