Lead Teacher – Butterfly Classroom
Amelia was born and raised in Camas, Washington. She graduated from Camas High School and Clark College. She also earned her bachelors degree from Northern Arizona University in Early Childhood Education while student teaching in Flagstaff, Arizona. Amelia started her journey with Camas Montessori in March 2022. She absolutely fell in love with the Montessori method and of course the wonderful children. In August 2025, Amelia graduated from Montessori Northwest in Portland, Oregon with her AMI teaching certification and Masters degree in Montessori Education from Whitworth University. Amelia is committed to teaching an Anti Biased Education. Amelia’s daughter currently attends Camas Montessori as well. Outside of the classroom, Amelia loves to travel with her family or snuggle at home with her kitten.
