PARENTS ARE REQUIRED TO FULFILL AT LEAST 25 HOURS OF VOLUNTEERING VALUED AT
$6/HR..  OR YOU MAY OPT TO BUY OUT OF VOLUNTEERING FOR A $150 DONATION. BOARD
MEMBERS ARE EXEMPT.

MAIN EVENTS NEEDING VOLUNTEERS:

        Auction  (winter/spring)                      Thanksgiving Luncheon (Nov)
        Cookie Dough Sale (Nov)                    Run for the Arts (October)
        End of year carnival (June)                 Annual fund drive (ongoing)
        Scrip program (ongoing)                    Board member (2 yrs., eves., 1x mon.)


OTHER ACTIVITIES:

        Classroom Laundry 1st week of each month (usually towels and aprons)
                             2nd week
                        3rd week
                        4th week
        Select children’s books form the library (one month out of the year--a list is provided)
        Helping out at special celebrations
        Listening to readers:  mornings one day a week—please specify the day _________
        Grandparent interested in listening to readers-- please specify the day _________
        ¬¬¬Substituting if an assistant is sick.—usually this will be in the morning only.
        Repairing or refinishing classroom materials or playground equipment
        Sewing classroom materials
o        I have a sewing machine
o        I have a surging machine
        Photography.  Take pictures at special events
        Help with the Atrium once a week for one hour
        Help serve hot lunch on Fridays from 11:00-12:00.

        Print photos from digital camera
or CD for end of year books
        ( ) Collect Boxtops for Education labels( )Collect Campbell’s soup labels. check one  or both
        Provide fresh flowers for classroom “flower arranging” and botany work-seasonal.
        Provide vegetables for food preparation work- seasonal
        Coming in one Saturday—a designated work day--during the year to help clean, repair
or
             paint classroom furniture and materials as well as do playground upkeep
        Printing Language/Math cards- done on a home computer
        Laminate Language cards—this would be done at the school with our laminator
        Fathers to help with setup and cleanup at our Mother’s Day tea in May
